Sotera Fornaro is Professor of Greek Literature at the University of Campania 'Luigi Vanvitelli'. She has studied and taught in Basel, Heidelberg, Freiburg a.B., Berlin, Lüneburg, Sassari. DAAD and Alexander von Humboldt Fellow, she currently directs the blog and the OJS 'Visioni del tragico. La tragedia greca sulla scena italiana dal 2001 ad oggi' (www.visionideltragico.it). She's is editor of 'Philologus'. She has published essays, among the others, on Homer, Greek Literature of Imperial Age, History of Classic Studies, reception of the classical myth in modern and contemporary literatures.
